Bouncing Back after Slipping Up

Sorry we missed the blog/newsletter last week! Honestly, last week was a bit of a whirlwind. One assistant was out on vacation, and our new assistant had an unexpected family emergency that was pressing and deserved her attention beyond being here. So, that left me flying solo. Did as much as possible to make sure that patient treatment and all other services for our patients didn’t dip, but the email newsletter was one of the things that slid through the cracks.

I see people in the office with life situations throwing curveballs at them, and because of those unexpected happenings they wind up falling off the saddle with their health decisions. Beyond having to take a pause on care, they may start slipping up on their diet and turn towards the convenient fast food options; they may feel they’re so time-pressed that they feel like they can’t get out and exercise; or they may just cram in more hours into their day by giving up sleep.

When those happen though, we always have the option of getting back into doing the right things. I know this email newsletter helps connect with you guys, so I’m going to get right back at it. You may find that it’s time to get back to a proper diet/exercise program, back into the office for care, or time to get a proper night’s sleep.

We may not always do things perfectly, but as long as we strive for doing the best we can, that’s all we can ask for!
