Be Careful This Holiday Season!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! It seems odd that Christmas is less than 3 weeks away, but it will be here before we know it. While getting your Christmas to-do list checked off and finishing up the year strong, remember to reward your body with positive health decisions.

In our rush to get everything done, often times we can neglect our health in the process. Our diets are at risk for eating a few too many Christmas sweets, we can feel like we’re too busy to exercise, and our sleep habits can be less than ideal. But staying on course in December means a lighter hole to get out of in January. And a lighter hole means it’s easier to start getting wins with New Years Resolutions. And early wins are a huge predictor for long-term success!

So enjoy the holiday season, don’t punish yourself in the process…but be aware that a little bit of self-discipline today will lead to a happier and healthier tomorrow!
